Start/Finish Location and Time

Sunday, March 7, 2010 • 7:00 AM start time
The course will be open for 4 hours (7:00-11:00 AM)
Start/finish will be at Veterans Park: 3101 Harvey Road
College Station, Texas 77845

Race Fees

  • Through Dec. 31st - $35 for online registration; $40 for paper registration
  • Jan. 1st - 31st - $45 for online registration; $50 for paper registration
  • Feb. 1st - Mar. 3rd - $55 for online registration; $60 for paper registration*
  • Note: Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Mar. 3rd, 2010
  • Mar. 5th - 6th - $65 in person
  • Race Day - $80

*Mail in registration WILL NOT be accepted if postmarked after Saturday February 27, 2010.

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions. This means once we receive your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate and you may not sell or give your entry to anyone else. If you cannot participate, we will be happy to mail your Armadillo Dash T-shirt to you upon request.

Shirt sizes are guaranteed only for those who register on or BEFORE February 5th, 2010. Medals will be given at the finish line. Although we make every effort to have enough medals and have ordered LOTS, they are NOT guaranteed on race day. We will make a post-race order IF we run out, and send your medal to you.

Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony will begin between 9:00-9:30 AM in the Pavilion at Veterans Park. Awards not picked up at the finish of the race will be mailed.

Cash awards for the Half-Marathon will be presented for the following:

  • Overall male and female finishers; 1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50
  • 1st Masters male and female finishers; $50 each

Trophy awards will also be given for each category below:

  • 1st Male and Female finishers in five-year age divistions, starting with 19 and under, and then in 5-year increments, (e.g. 20-24, 25-29, etc.) to age 70+.

Water Stops

There will be 8 water stops. They range from 1 to 2 miles apart. Each water stop will have water, and every other water stop will have Gatorade and water. The winner of the water stop competition, to be voted on by 1/2 marathon runners, will receive cash prizes.

Safety

A first aid station and mobile unit will be located at the start/finish area.

Finisher's Gifts

1/2 marathon finishers will receive a technical shirt at packet pick-up and a finisher's medal at the finish line. Please be aware that medals are NOT guaranteed on race day. We will make every effort to have enough medals, which will be given at the finish line. If necessary, a post race order may be placed.

Course Regulations

NO strollers, skateboards, bicycles, devices with wheels, dogs or other animals will be allowed on the course with runners.
